I started blk cherry as a response to Black Lives Matter in 2020. It made me want to support and elevate the black community.

I’m offering a Community Investment Rate to *two* small BPOC-led businesses / CICs that need a one-page website but might not have the budget.

Some of the people doing the most important work are the ones who lack the funds. This is my way of supporting the organisations that make long-lasting community impact.

  • I make websites — from simple one-pagers to full 10+ page builds. I handle everything from design to build to launch, and I stick around afterwards to help with any updates you might need.

    I use Squarespace and Wix.

    Prices vary depending on the size of the project.

  • Already got a website but it’s feeling a bit tired? I’ll give it a refresh, tightening up the design and layout so it feels like you again. Perfect for Squarespace or Wix sites that just need some love.

  • If you’re looking for one-off designs, whether it’s a flyer, podcast artwork or a group of social media templates.

    Prices vary depending on project.

THINGS PEOPLE ASK

  • Every website project includes a tailored colour palette and carefully selected typography to give your brand a cohesive, professional look.

    Many clients come to me with an existing logo or style in mind, so I typically build your brand around that.

    If you need a new logo, I can design one as an additional service — just let me know before we begin so I can include it in your proposal.

  • Yes, for all projects, I take 25% deposit at the start of the project, 50% during the middle of the project and the remaining balance during the week the site launches.

    Cost can be spread out further on request.

  • Yes. I take 25% of the total project fee upfront to secure your booking.

  • Always. Websites are always evolving, so I work continually with my clients, helping with website updates and design changes when they need it. I work on an hourly or day-rate basis after the launch of your website.

  • I should receive payment within 7 (business) days from the date the invoice has been sent. If you are unable to do this, please let me know and we can work something out.
